- What is the dress code?
Black tie is preferred — it will be warm during the day and a bit cooler in the evenings. Long dresses are best, as are tuxedos if you have one! Ladies should be advised that we will be spending time in the garden, so please choose your footwear with that in mind (we will have plastic caps available for your high heels).
- What will the weather be like?
Wine Country is beautiful in May, but like many places in Northern California it can be chilly at night. The wedding and reception are all outdoors, so please bring a layer if you're worried about getting cold.
- Can I bring my kids?
We love being auntie and uncle to the smallest members of the family, but are opting for a child-free wedding.
- What type of food will be served?
We're excited to share with you an array of Northern California's favorites, which will be served at your tables, family-style.
- Will there be an open bar?
Yes and, unlike at many venues in Wine Country, we are able to serve spirits in addition to beer and wine.
- Where should I stay?
The wedding will take place at Cornerstone Art Garden, right near Sonoma Square. If the above hotels don't suit your needs, feel free to book an Airbnb in the area. Ubers are usually relatively quick in the area.
- How should I get around?
Given the venue's proximity to Sonoma Square, we ask that you either take an Uber/Lyft, or drive if you don't plan to drink.
- I'm visiting from out of town, what should I plan to do during the weekend?
If you're flying in, please note that Sonoma is about 90 minutes from SFO. See the "Things to do" section above for some of our favorite activities in the area.
